Story Time
Senior year hit hard, and everyone was joking about how adulting was harder than the teachers made it sound. Between college apps and part-time jobs, the stress wasn’t exactly an aesthetic anyone wanted. When deadlines piled up, it felt overwhelming AF, but somehow the squad kept each other laughing. Mia called her boyfriend her bae every time he brought snacks to study group, which cracked everyone up.
On Friday, someone played a banger at the football game, and the bleachers went wild. The cheerleaders’ playlist had a few basic songs, but no one cared once the crowd started singing along. “Bet we’ll win tonight,” Jay shouted, and everyone cheered louder. It was such a big mood when the whole student section stomped and clapped in unison.
At the after-party, the DJ dropped a bop that got everyone dancing, even the kids who usually stayed in the corner. Some of the seniors showed up looking boujee in outfits way fancier than needed for a house party. Everyone joked about spending too much bread on clothes they’d only wear once.
Later, as the night wound down, one of the speakers started to break down, crackling with static. Nobody cared though—they were too busy making memories. The chaos, the laughter, and even the broken sound system made the night unforgettable.
