An individual, group, or organization that has a vested interest in a project or business.

Stalemate
A situation in which no further action or progress can be made.
" The debate ended in a stalemate, with neither side able to convince the other."
Statute
A written law passed by a legislative body.
" The new statute makes it illegal to use a cell phone while driving."
Stipulate
To specify a condition or requirement in an agreement.
" The contract stipulates that the project must be completed by the end of the year."
Structural
Relating to the structure of a building.
" The engineers had to check the structural integrity of the new building before it could be opened to the public."
Subjective
Based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions.
" The artistic merit of the painting is subjective, as it depends on individual taste."
Subpoena
A writ ordering a person to attend a court.
" He was served with a subpoena to testify as a witness in the upcoming trial."
Subsume
To include or absorb something in something else.

Summative
Relating to or constituting a final judgment or summary of an assessment.

Sustain
To cause or allow something to continue.
" The team was able to sustain their high level of productivity for the duration of the project."
Symbiotic
Describes a mutually beneficial relationship.
" The symbiotic relationship between the two companies led to a significant increase in profits for both."
Synchronize
To cause to happen at the same time.
" The team had to synchronize their efforts to complete the project on time."
Synergy
The combined effect of a group that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Syntax
The arrangement of words and phrases to create well-formed sentences in a language.

Synthesize
To combine different elements or ideas into a coherent whole, often to form a new theory or system.
" The team must synthesize data from various departments to form a clear project plan."
