The refusal to change one's views or agree on a compromise; stubbornness.

Intricacy
The quality of being complex, complicated, or having many fine details.
" The intricacy of the ancient clockwork mechanism was a testament to the artisan's skill."
Irreconcilable
Unable to be made compatible or brought into harmony.
" Their differences in opinion were so great that they proved to be irreconcilable."
Iterate
To perform or utter repeatedly, or to repeat a process until the desired outcome is achieved.
" We will have to iterate on the design multiple times before it is ready for production."
Iteration
The repetition of a process or a cycle.
" The design team had to go through several iterations of the design before it was approved."
Jurisdiction
The official power to make legal decisions and judgments.
" The case was transferred to a different court because it was outside of their jurisdiction."
KPI
An acronym for Key Performance Indicator; a measurable value that demonstrates how effectively a company is achieving its business objectives.
" The marketing team's most important KPI was the number of new leads generated."
Latency
The delay before a transfer of data begins following an instruction for its transfer.
" The low latency of the network allowed for a seamless online gaming experience."
Leverage
To use something to its maximum advantage; to exploit for a specific purpose.
" We need to leverage our existing technology to improve efficiency across all departments."
Liability
The state of being responsible for something, often a debt.
" The company's balance sheet showed a significant amount of liability, so they had to borrow more money."
Liquidity
The availability of liquid assets to a market or company.
" The company had a high level of liquidity, allowing it to meet all of its short-term obligations."
Litigation
The process of taking legal action.
" The company had to undergo a lengthy and expensive litigation process to resolve the dispute."
Longitudinal
Relating to a study that is conducted over a long period of time.
" The study was a longitudinal one that tracked the participants' health over a period of 20 years."
Loquacious
Tending to talk a great deal; talkative.
" The loquacious salesman kept us on the phone for an hour, detailing every feature of the product."
