To formally declare someone free from any blame for a wrongdoing; to acquit.
" He was completely exonerated of all the charges after new evidence was presented that proved his innocence."
Exorbitant
Unreasonably high in price; excessive.
" The cost of a simple cup of coffee in the city was exorbitant, so he decided to make his own at home."
Extrapolate
To infer or estimate something unknown by extending a known set of facts or data.
" Using the current sales data, we can extrapolate that our revenue will increase by a significant margin next quarter."
Facade
An outward appearance that is maintained to conceal a less pleasant or creditable reality.
" His calm facade hid the inner turmoil and anxiety he was feeling about the difficult situation."
Felicity
Intense happiness, or the ability to express oneself in an elegant and pleasing way.
" The speaker's ability to express herself with such great felicity made her presentation incredibly enjoyable to watch."
Felony
A serious crime, typically one punishable by imprisonment for more than a year.
" He was charged with a felony for his involvement in the bank robbery."
Filibuster
An action or a tactic that involves a long speech to delay or obstruct a legislative or other decision.
" The senator used a filibuster to delay the vote on the new law, hoping to get more time to convince his colleagues."
Foible
A minor character flaw or eccentricity; a small weakness in one's character.
" His occasional foible of being late to meetings was easily overlooked because of his exceptional performance in his work."
Forbidden
Not allowed; prohibited by law or social custom.
" It was strictly forbidden to enter the restricted area, and anyone who did would be arrested immediately."
Forensics
The application of scientific methods and techniques to the investigation of a crime.

Fredo
A derogatory term for a weak, disloyal, or unintelligent person; derived from 'The Godfather' character.

Frown
To wrinkle the brow in a show of displeasure or concentration.

Galvanize
To shock or excite someone into taking action; to spur on to a response.

Gauge
To measure or estimate the nature, amount, or intensity of something.
